Subscriptions are automatically cancelled if your card is declined after 2 attempts. This can happen due to:
Insufficient funds
Expired card
Bank declining the charge
To regain access, simply repurchase the subscription with a valid payment method.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime. Your benefits stay active until the end of your current billing period — cancellation only stops future renewals.
How to cancel depends on which payment method you used:
PayPal:
Go to your profile page and click Cancel Subscription. We handle it for you — no need to log into PayPal.
Stripe (credit/debit card):
On your profile page, click Manage Subscription (Stripe). That opens Stripe’s secure portal where you can cancel, change payment method, or view invoices.
Ko-Fi (legacy):
Ko-Fi manages those subscriptions on their end, so you’ll cancel directly there. Sign in at ko-fi.com → Settings → Memberships, find genpkm, and click Cancel Membership. If you have a Ko-Fi subscription linked to your account, the profile page also shows a guided walkthrough.
I subscribed through Ko-Fi a while back — am I still being charged?
Possibly. We switched from Ko-Fi to direct PayPal and Stripe subscriptions, but any Ko-Fi memberships created before the switch continue to auto-renew on Ko-Fi until you cancel them there. We have no way to cancel them from our side.
To check: sign in at ko-fi.com/settings/memberships. If you see a genpkm membership, that’s an active Ko-Fi sub you can cancel there. Your profile page will also flag it if we detect one on your account.
