One deadline, seven generations

Bank is the only sanctioned bridge from the Game Boy, DS and 3DS games into Pokémon HOME. Nothing replaces it. Once the servers stop, a Pokémon caught in Crystal or Emerald or Black 2 can never legitimately reach a modern game again.

What an authentic transfer actually costs

A Pokémon caught in Emerald cannot be handed to HOME. It has to walk. Six hops, four consoles, two dead online services — and every hop stamps the Pokémon with data that has to line up. This is the chain we are running, one game at a time, while it still exists.

What "authentic" has to mean

An archive is only worth having if you can trust every entry in it. These are the rules the Vault is built to — and every entry on the shelves above already passed them.

A genuine HOME tracker

Every Pokémon passes through Pokémon HOME before the deadline and comes back out carrying the tracker HOME gave it. Trackers are issued by Nintendo's servers, not written by us — that is exactly why they have to be earned before February.

Transferred, never generated

Each entry starts in its own game and walks the full chain. Met location, met level, original Trainer, ball, language and the game it came from all describe the journey it actually took.

Both sides of the cartridge

Zangoose and Seviper. Gligar and Delibird. Latios and Latias. Where a Pokémon was locked to one version, we are catching it in that version rather than trading around it.

Checked before it ships

Nothing enters the Vault until it passes the same legality checks we run on every trade today. If a Pokémon cannot survive inspection, it does not get a shelf.

The deadline still stands

The doors are open. The clock is still running.

Everything on these shelves beat a deadline that cannot be extended. The archive keeps growing until 25 February 2027 — after that night, what is here is all there will ever be.

Frequently Asked Questions about The Vault

When does Pokémon Bank shut down?
Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter both end service on 25 February 2027 at 7:00 p.m. PST. After that moment nothing can move from the Game Boy, DS or 3DS games into Pokémon HOME — the transfer door closes permanently.
Can I still transfer Pokémon from 3DS games to Switch after Bank closes?
No. Bank is the only official bridge from the classic games into Pokémon HOME, and nothing replaces it. Once it goes dark, a Pokémon still sitting in Red, Emerald, Black 2 or Ultra Moon can never legitimately reach Scarlet & Violet or any future game. That is exactly why the Vault exists — we moved these Pokémon through the door while it was still open.
How do I get Gen 1–7 Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet, Sword & Shield or BDSP now?
Browse the Vault shelves on this page. Every entry was caught in its original game, walked the full transfer chain into Pokémon HOME before the deadline, and can be traded straight to your Switch by our trade bots in a normal link trade.
Do you trade directly to Pokémon HOME?
No — there is no such thing as a HOME-to-HOME trade bot, here or anywhere. Our bots deliver in a Switch game through a normal link trade (each entry's card shows which game). Once the Pokémon is in your game, you can move it into your own Pokémon HOME yourself — its genuine tracker comes with it.
Are Vault Pokémon legitimate?
Yes. Every entry carries a genuine Pokémon HOME tracker issued by Nintendo's servers — trackers cannot be faked after the shutdown — and ships byte-for-byte with its original Trainer, met location, language and ball intact. Nothing in the Vault is generated. Prefer your own name on it? Enter a custom OT at delivery and only the Trainer name is swapped — the HOME tracker is never altered.
What does Vault access cost?
Browsing the archive is free for everyone. Having entries traded to your own game is included with every paid GenPKM membership — Premium, PoGo Master, Elite and Lifetime, from $9.99/month — with unlimited requests and no per-Pokémon price. Do I need Pokémon Bank, a 3DS or the old games to use the Vault?
